    Prod no 914601235/00
My engineer called today and has reported a weird fault .
when you fill on wash it then fills tumbles okay ,when you put to spin and drain it empties for approx 3/4 secs then stops and the start ligt flashes continuously .
if you put on a rinse it fills then circ pump comes on it tumbles and then does the same as above
if you manually drain the machine it will then pump and spin okay .
    Any thoughts ?

    Hi.

Has he accessed the last known fault code by entering diagnostic cycle?

    Re: Lux EWD 14091

this is interesting ,basically after we stripped the machine down to check over everything and re assembled ,it worked okay .
That was two weeks ago ,but now the machine is back the same ,but there seems to be no previous fault code present.
when you put it on drain or spin it drains for approx 5 secs and then goes dead ?
    any ideas

Possible faulty water leakage control device in base if it has one.

this is the bizarre thing ,yes he has as the sympton is not unlike some of the later MFI machines when something was to earth .
will keep plugging away and let you know the outcome …

Don’t forget, forty megohms on either element is “low insulation” as far as these boards are concerned and they’ll shut down. Says so in service manual.
