    Hi I have a Hotpoint BCI450 intergrated dishwasher.
    The problem is the machine is making a buzzing noise.
    I have found that the dispenser solenoid is staying on and after a few mins it starts to buzz and smell a bit hot.
    The machine apart from that seems to work ok and if I disconnect the solenoid will go through the wash ok.
    Any pointers?

    Will send you some info, might help you trace it, does point to PCB fault but not one that I have seen ….yet. 😥

    Thanks for the info. I have checked on Connect and it seems the pcb is nla.

    Thanks for that, but that part on connect comes up as a timer?

    That’s exactly the part you need, that’s what it is, or in official Hotpoint terminolgy speak “TIMER BIT100.1 Q2 RHS+N 1045048 (DW)“:wink:

    Had this fault a few times it will defianatly be the pcb
