    Hoover Hnf 7167 triac blown .Number on it is 79m056 re737.Would i be able to obtain one and where from please

    Nothing on Google for that number. I would try a fairly high rated triac such as a BT139-600. This is a 600 volt, 12 Amp device so is up to the job and is available from Connect. Only concern is the gate current as you don’t know the spec. of the Hoover triac. If the alternative is a BER machine it’s got to be worth trying though.

    What does this triac do? Is it the one for the motor? If so, better check that area too.
