ParticipantThe Error Codes are displayed by making flash simultaneously the START LED and the LED
OF THE 1st OPTION’S BUTTON (see Picture 3).
The length of each displaying of an Error Code is 15 seconds. During this period of time, both
LEDs flash together at the frequency of 1 Hz (1 flash per second), the number of their flashes
in the 15 seconds period being the actual Error Code. After the Code was displayed, both
LEDs stay OFF until the end of the 15 seconds period. Then, the sequence is repeated.
Example: Error Code n. 2 (missing completion of the water load, within the designed limit
time) is so displayed:
β’ 2 flashes by the 2 LEDs together, in the 1st 2 seconds (0.5″ ON β 0.5″ OFF).
β’ 13 seconds both LEDs are switched off.
β’ The sequence as above is repeatedMarch 21, 2010 at 1:52 pm #315807mac2525

Thanks for the reply. Where is picture 3? I can’t find it. What you say is correct with the whole cycle taking 15 seconds but it is definately flashing 11 times in that period. I have counted it several times…. One other thing is it was originally starting to not take out the conditioner from the tray. I have cleaned out the compartment and the water injection holes but no effect. It seems to stop quite early in the sequence.

Participantoh
its one of them
Opened Circuit of the Drying Heater and/or of the NTC Probe for Drying and/or of the
Electronic Module for Drying and/or Wiring.B1) We realized that the most frequent reason
for the trouble quoted in subject, is a
defective continuity of the AMP terminals
fitted onto the leads of the NTC
Temperature Probe for Drying. The reasons
for their failure can be many and varied
(vibrations, overheating, rough treatment
while servicing), until the said AMP terminals
get ultimately spoiled, this triggering the
displaying of the error for the open circuited
NTC Probe for Drying NTC (E11 β Ref. 1 in
picture).
B2) A second reason for the trouble (rare) is
not caused by a malfunction of the NTC
probe, but is due to a too low room
temperature, lower than +2 Β° C.
C) SOLUTION OF THE TROUBLE AT PAR. B1Replace the original NTC Probe for Drying (Ref. 1 in the picture) with the new NTC Probe for Drying equipped
with a clip-on Connector (Ref. 2 in the picture) and P/N. 41032956. Replace the connecting Wiring between
the NTC Probe for Drying and the “Cuore” Power Module as well, since with the new Probe the correspondent
male clip-on Connector is now needed on the Wiring. The new Wiring for the NTC Probe for Drying can be
ordered with the P/N. 41032989. The new NTC Probe for Drying and the related new Wiring, are used on the
assembly line, starting from the date of production 0949 (on the serial label).
D) SOLUTION OF THE TROUBLE AT PAR. B2:
Please informPlease inform the User of the need to install the unit in a dry and ventilated environment, complying with the
safety standards, where the temperature will not fall below 2Β° C (to avoid the risk of icing) and wonβt exceed
the 35Β° C, in order to ensure the optimal performance and the proper functioning of the Appliance.
Best regards.
GIAS Italygood luck with that

Where on the washer is the NTC probe for drying? I have took the item that looks like a switch on top / front of the cowl going from the dryer fan to the front of the washer checked the connections and cleaned it. This had no effect. Started to follow the cables back to the PCB. Noticed that at the back left hand side there is a cable clamp arrangement that the tape on the outside looked a bit distressed. Took that off and found the red cable from the switch almost apart. Made that off into a terminal block and now giving it a maintenance wash.
So far so good 20 minutes in π . I will let you know if all OK.Cheers.
