    Hi,
Can anybody please help me with the part no for a Hotpoint wt540/1g. I’m in need of a motor for it.
I’ve checked masterparts and they dont list this model but a 540p but it uses the 3.5phase motor, which is wrong.

If anybody could tell me which is the correct one it would be really appreciated.

    Cheers

    Nick

New motor is an FHP C00143611 or a CESET C00145609.

Apparently you can use either but have to rewrite the eeprom file if you do not use exactly the same motor. :rolls:

The CESET motors used in production have either a 45mm or a 52mm field coil stack, these are also not interchangable without an eeprom rewrite according to Partfinder.

    Good luck. 😥

    Thanks for your help.
God, why cant it just be simple. I’ve looked at the moter and cant remember which type it has. Gonna have to go back and take another look.
Can you tell by any other means. Serial no etc?

Nothing mentioned on Partfinder, both types used in production. :rolls:
