Now, thanks to Trevor and some very ingenious manipulation of the phpNuke system this should never happen again unless we come up againts one smart motherfucker. A very clever thing has been done to prevent it from happening again and that’s all I’ll say.
Script kiddies need no longer apply for a free ride on UKW I don’t think, it will take someone a bit smarter than your average to get in now. There is still some upgrading to do on the forums, but the primary point of entry is now closed.
What we have to remember is somethign that Li once said to me…
“If it is on the internet, it’s vulnerable to attack”
The trick is outsmarting the bastards first. 😉

It’s way beyond my technical knowhow how these wasters do what they do, and it’s way beyond my comprehension why the fuck they see the need to do it in the first place TBH.
But there we are, as you say, if it’s on the net, it’s open to attack, lesson learned I guess and now the security is of a much higher level it hopefully won’t ever happen again.

Never say never! Point is it’s now been made a lot harder indeed and the little morons are now well and truly goosed as they were using an exploit known as SQL Injection, which I’ve now read a bit on and that avenue is virtually sealed.
Like I said though, never say never. 😕
But we will be making it a LOT tougher to crack!
