ParticipantHi folks
Need a triple cold walve for above machine as one of the valves is not seating propley and filling machine when not in use.
Acording to Connect part is obsolete but machine is only 18mth – 2yrs old !!! :?. Also showing same model can be hot and cold fill but this one is cold fill only so need triple valve – unless you can convert to hot and cold fill?
Can anybody shed any light on this for me – a part no or replacement part please – even a partern part would do
Thanks
Mick

If they are bog standard valves then you could always pop off the solenoid, unscrew the plunger and diaphragm complete from a new pattern valve and use that.

Thanks for the replys guys.
It looks like the one you suggested petalpop might fit so thanks
I didn’t know you could strip the new type valves any further than taking the solenoid off – thought they were all moulded after that – but will inspect further – knew the old vaves that were screwed together all came apart but they are in the long distant past and showing my age – but thanks for that info Iadom will take a look.
Many thanks for the replies folks much appreciated. 😀

I use a pair of long nosed pliars to unscrew the plunger assy. You can get most of them out although you do get the odd one that wont budge.
If you do fit the Hotpoint one you must make sure that the solenoid that goes to the condensor from the Hotpoint valve is the same one on the Servis machine. The solenoid coil for the condensor is designed to be energised for long periods and the flow through the valve should only be a steady trickle.

The triple valve you need Mick is 5045171892554 (Connect part number) as the restrictor on the Hotpoint one is in the wrong valve outlet. But an even better alternative is the Qualtex VAL21 but remembering to take the condenser flow restrictor out of the old valve and fit it to this one of course. 😉
