creda oven repair

    Hello I have a creda concept c362e cooker and the oven stopped working I tried element and fan on another cooker they worked ok but when I put it back on my cooker they did not work only the oven light was working it is not the timer I have tried that timer is ok so I put on a new microswitch but that did not help could it be the thermostat that is causing this hope you can help thankyou

    It could be, or it could be the control unit. Unless you want to go down the route of changing expensive parts on the off chance they fix it then it needs checking out with a suitable megger or multimeter and like as not a wiring diagram.


    Which microswitch did you change?

    Interested to know how you ‘tried’ the timer. 😕

    Start by buying a test meter. Otherwise, you’re guessing.

    Hello I forgot say that it was the microswitch on the main oven door that I replaced

    as it hasnt been suggested yet, it might still sound daft, but the cooker isnt on auto mode is it?

    The light would not come on if it was set to auto’ thats why I didn’t suggest it. 😉
