I’ve been asked by a friend to find a double cavity under the counter oven preferrably multi-function but must have a spit roast and self clean linings.

    I can’t find one.

    Is there such a thing?

    Hi Steve

Nothing I know of in a b/u double, bear in mind the main oven cavity would probably only take a small chicken at best on a rotisserie. Neff U17M62 has a circo roast option which cycles the grill element and fan which gives a spit roast effect. AEG produce the U88106M which works in the same way they call there`s Rotitherm.

Smeg are about the only ones I can find which has a rotisserie but it`s on a large single cavity like this one at Comet.

amica have just released a built in 60×60 single with a rotiserie iirc from the pw trade show. might be misguided tho?!

built under d/o is a very british style of appliance. rotisserie is a very continental style of cooking. there will be very little if any, combining the 2.

you may be better off at looking at a pair of 60×60 single ovens side by side rather than a b/u d/o because as don says, the capacitys are tiny. top ovens on the aeg/elux/zan models tend to be taller because the controls are on the side. but if im honest aeg/elux/zan ovens are not good value for money imho
