Appliance continues to drain out with any of the four programs selected. Completely dry in the base. Customer also reports that on opening the door, the appliance has always continued to operated and that they have to switch off from the wall switch above the work top. I’m sure this is more than a door lock?

Hi mate, I think you will need to put a new door lock anyway cos that sounds like its faulty as machine runs with door open. I would repair that 1st and see what happens…u never know???
If it is opened during a drain phase, I think it will continue but draining only. If she can open the door & it still washes then yes the lock will need replacing.
