Hi
I am about to upgrade my Nokia 6210,But am restricted as I have a genuine Nokia in car kit which is now getting a bit ropey .
A couple of questions
1.Does bluetooth work as well as they say,hich gives me greater flexibility on a new phone size etc
2.am I better of sticking with the kit I have ,And upgrading the phone accordingly
3.what phones do people have and how do they rate themI have always had Nokia’s and have always found them to be excellent

Used to have a Nokia mobile. Great for texting. Went blue tooth 2 years ago and changed to Sony Erikson. Havnt looked back, am now about to issue my engineers with Panasonic handsets with blue tooth earpieces.
With my Sony P800 I dont need a car kit. Its voice activated and with the phone attached to my belt or in a pocket I am completely hands free!!!!!
Get some funny looks off customers though when I appear to be talking to their washing machine!! Only have to say answer when phone rings or busy and caller gets busy tone.The earpiece stays attached to my ear mostly day and night (nick-named as by Borg implant) and I forget its there most of the time….
The only thing I would advise though is that your earpiece needs to be compatable with your phone i.e. Sony + Sony, Nokia + Nokia, less problems that way.
Must say I had some fun setting up the voice activation. Found if in a noisy place whilst setting up, the headset gave false readings and often found myself talking to the mother in law instead of the wife. 😳
Definitely worth the money. P800/P900 + Sony Erikson HBH35. Perservere and go for full voice activation. Its surprising what you can be doing whilst answering the phone with your hands free!!…. Like driving, invoicing, repairing washing machines and many other things that occur to you as time goes on….
Have fun!!!!!! 😆Yeah I use the Parrot Bluetooth kit in the car and the family bus as well now as i jump in, switch the car on and it just works with the Nokia 6310i or the 6600, but I did have some issues with the Sony Ericsson handsets. That’s not a critisism of SE in particular, more of Bluetooth which is supposed to just work and, to be fair, 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time does. With voice activation it meets the current legislation for using a phone in the car.
I did have the headset thing (think I still do somewhere :?) but I looked too much like an extra from a dodgy Star Trek episode for my liking with that on. 😆
