How Could This Be ? Hotpoint WF860

had a call to this one a week back customer said that machine was showing H20 and that the program times were way too long. I diagnosed a kinked inlet hose kinked after some company had installed a water softner and pushed the machine back kinking the hose.

H20 fault recitfied, customer now called to say that machine is taking too long to complete cycles. Went back today for a gander and the customer says that the 30 minute wash timed at 30 mins according to the handbook is taking an hour and the washes timed at 1 hour take 2 hours !

Have checked the heating element, pump, inlet valves, thermistor all testing out ok and also running it through a 30 minute wash myself which worked as it should and I believe that the customer is right in what they say, how could this happen ? Could this be a faulty power board ?

Only time I have ever had elongated cycles is when something is faulty like one of the above components. Also strange is that no error codes are being shown ?

I am puzzled
