    Hi

We have a 3-year old Fridge/freezer which over the last couple of days has stoped chilling everything in the fridge (milk going off and everything slighlty chilled rather than being cold – it’s on the highest setting on the temp. selector). The doors are shutting properly and there is not too much food in it.

Over the last week, it has also had a problem with water dripping into the top chiller compartment from the vents above.

It’s always been a very noisy appliance.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Many Thanks

    Tim

The best thing to do would be a full defrost . The cold air for the fridge is supplied from the freezer via an air channel. This may be frozen up and stopping the air from being blown into the fridge compartment.

Find somewhere else to store the food for 48hrs , switch off at the mains and open the doors. Leave it for 48hrs and then switch on again. It will hopefully right itself.

P.S Keep an eye on the clear container at the rear of the F/F as it may fill up with the defrosted water and may need emptying out after a day or so.
