    Re: Partfinder!!

I have just been informed of a cock up here. I have confused Partfinder which is the Indesit/Hotpoint disk with Identiffier which is the MFI disk 😳

Partfinder will cost a little bit more than Identiffier methinks.

Have you applied for trade access gack60?

Lots of help and advice available on the ‘Dark Side’ 😉

You can only buy the Partfinder disc direct from the Indesit Company, you will need to contact them direct.

The Partfinder disc is date sensitive and unless you stick in an old PC and mess around with the clock settings it dies every six months. The latest version is now due and it will cost me £71.68 for the disc and two licenses to run it on my desk top and one laptop PC. It has to be validated to get it to run, either over the phone or online.

It is purely parts identification software, virtually no technical information whatsoever. 😥

The Electrolux TDS Offline CD/DVD was much better and anyone could buy it directly from Electrolux.
In fact anyone can freely view exploded diagrams on Electrolux and Bosch websites. Unfortunately Indesit aren’t so generous.
