i a ffa90hotpoint frdge freezer and for the past week i have noticed a thermostat symbol flashing with a temp reading going up and down on the freezer part plus it keeps beeping . please help.

Are the fridge temps OK,likely you have frost build up in the evaporator of the freezer,is there frost in the freezer thats a sure sign usually,try switching off the whole appliance for a couple of days with doors open to defrost completely.

there seeems to be no ice forming now just a flashing thermometre and stating minus 3 then minus 4 just keeps beeping aswell, tried fast freeze no good

If you pull out the freezers draws and there is frost on the back panel in the freezer you need to defrost as recommended.
If not you may need an engineer unless you are competent in electrics etc.
Try and be clear which cabinet temperatures you refer to eg,minus 3 in freezer or fridge?.
