can anyone tell me how to get into one of these. I think a spring has come off the drum and it is rubbing and making noise. The back or top does not seem to have a point to take it off to see, can anyone help please.

Top comes off easily enough, two screws at the back then go round the front and give the front edge of the top a hefty bang backwards with the ‘heels’ of your hands.
If either of the springs had broken ( they don’t ‘come off’ ) then the drum would look well out of line from inside the door.
You will more than likely have something stuck inside the drum or the main bearings are on the way out. 😥
