Hi we have a fridge freezer service No 998839600, serial No 216205053 its about 5/6 years old i think.
Yesterday morning the alarm was sounding and the temperature of the fridge was 14 deg and the freezer was off scale. both doors were shut and there was no frost.
The fridge is enclosed either side by kitchen panels, the kitchen was fitted just before xmas, the vent at the top and bottom are unobstructed and clean.
I have pulled the unit out and it is currently running, the fridge has gone down to currently 6 deg and the freezer which is empty apart from the drawers is still off scale its been running on boost for an hour and a half.
Is this the beginning of the end??
any advice would be greatly appreciated

Update on the above fault
last night the fridge got down to 5deg for the fridge and -18 for the freezer, this morning the alarm was sounding, the fridge was at 11 deg and the freezer off scale again.
