We have just replaced the element on a Cookers 05-600407 fan oven ( bottom of double oven).
The top oven works but after the new element went it ( tricky job had to take oven out) the timer flashed on briefly when the oven was first switched on but now there is no display and the bottom oven won’t work ( linked to timer).
Do you think we need a new timer or is likely something has been dislodged when we put the element in. Where is the wiring for the timer? ❓
Can we test timer with multimeter?

Highly unlikely you’ve disturbed the timer wiring, more likely you’ve disturbed the wiring on the mains connector block which is near the element you replaced 😉

I presume that’s the box on the back of the oven?

That’s the one, the connections will be inside the back panel.

Power off at all times while checking :zap:
