    Hi!

This washing machine keeps coming back with the same fault from the customer, after a spin cycle the top half of clothes are dry but the bottom is wet! The appliance is definitely not syphoning, it spins perfectly and there was a blockage in the internal filter which is now cleared caused by those horrible colour catchers!!
When put on draining test cycles it is draining fine with or without clothes???

One thing i have noticed is there is a loud humming coming from the valve area after spin etc which i dont recall being normal for this model? There is no water entering the drawer tho?

Could this be the fault? Please advise ASAP, Many thanks guys!

It could be the condensor valve letting water in. Take the connector off the condensor valve and see if the noise stops. Possible PCB fault energising valve, pure speculation of course. :con:

Not something I have seen, usually poor draining due to partial sump blockages which is very common but the noise from the valve area does point to a valve being energised erroneously.

Just thought id let ya know… it was the PCB!! It was supplying the inlet valve as you said 😆

    Cheers for the advice.
