Cust complained no heat . Water level low . Removed cover on none return valve and refitted , water level then went to normal and started to heat. Now it wont pump out properly . Removed cover again and now pumps out but water level low again . The seal that the none return valve dome sits on is perished and does need replacing but is that the problem ? Any help appreciated thanks .

Have been to several of these. When the machine fills and starts to heat, top the level up with water and see if it heats ok. If it does, it is the fill valve (double) not opening properly. Very expensive if you go down the Miele route. I remove the double valve, and replace with a single valve, you have to fit spade connectors to the existing wiring, and remove the bracket from the new valve, also you need to fit a fill hose between the new valve and the tap. It all fits well and at a fraction of the cost. The bonus is that if the appliance is integrated, you don’t usually have to remove it. My number is 07971 117127 if you would like to discuss. Steve.

Just to say the fault with this dishwasher was the valve in the fill hose and many thanks to white van man for his help .
