Any ideas on how to solve this without stripping and cleaning the drum? Customer claims he tried machine cleaning stuff through it and loads of washes with nothing in it. He says when the water is in it you can see little flakes moving around the water.
Is there any good stuff that cures this?

Micky, have you not read through all the useful info contained within the ‘Advice & Help’ navigation bar on the subject?
What “cleaning stuff” did they use anyway?

Hi Martin, they used some salt based stuff apparently. Had a look today and when the drum is full of water you can see all the flakes swimming around. They are bits of lime. No matter how many times you fill and empty they are still there and of course get on the clothes.
