Hotpoint ET 6004 hob

    Never come across one of these before..a friend actually owns it and phoned me to say when you first switch it on at the wall it beeps for a few minutes and then comes on ok. When you try to use one of the rings at the back it starts to beep again. Using the other 3 it works fine. I think these are different than your normal ceramic?

    Its an induction hob and the parts are rather pricey, if iwas you i’d body swerve it and pass it back to Indesit if it is under 5 years old jj
