    Hi
Door of top oven “just come off in me ‘and, guv”…
User manual suggests replacing it should be easy, but I’m getting nowhere.
Actually, I suspect it wasn’t properly fitted in the first place, as it didn’t shut flush with the oven (bottom of door was flush, top about 1/2 cm out)
    Any suggestions please?
    I’d be v grateful

There should be some means of locking the hinges – a flip-over lever, a wire loop or a turn plate are the usul ones. If the door is off, the hinges will be in the closed position, so a great deal of leverage will be required to lever the hinges over in order to lock them. Then you can try and re-locate the door. There is usually a notch on the bottom of the hinges, which should locate it onto the receiver in the body of the oven. You should feel it slot home. The hinge locks cn then be easily released, allowing the door to work as it should.

    Thanks, Penguin45
Got there eventually – by ignoring the instructions in the manual and trying different ways until I could get the notch in the hinges to locate, *and* the support arms in place, at the same time.
I also noticed the door was thicker at the top than the bottom: by dismantling and reassembling it, and slightly realigning the plate that the knobs are in, I managed to get the whole thing flush too.
