Participanthi all,
could anyone help with advice selecting an approx. 200cm high fridge freezer with a reasonable size freezer to fit between kitchen units.
i’ve been looking for stainless steel, and the liebherr cunesf3903 seems to fit the bill – but has only a single circuit and temperature control, which i’ve read can be troublesome. is this likely to cause problems ?
any suggestions for any other models/makes meeting the criteria <202cmx60cm, in stainless with a good size freezer.
many thanks
andy

You won’t get much better than Liebherr, unless you buy the Miele one, which is a Liebherr with a badge on it.

Hi Andy,
Chris is correct.
There are few, if any, fridge freezers out there that are dual cooling circuits basically because people put cost first, sorry but it is what it is. However, it isn’t a problem so long as the ambient temperature (room) is always above +10ËšC, if it is, no problem. If it isn’t, can be a big problem.
The only other disadvantage is that if it goes down, it all goes down.
But, on the other hand, you save energy.
As I like to say… you choose your compromise and live with it. 😉
If you want a price on the unit let me know as I’ve been working on getting some decent deals on Liebherr appliances.

Hey there,
Thanks for an interesting forum!
So from everything I have read so far Liebherr is the way to go.
Im looking for an upright freestanding fridge freezer – looking for around a 50/50 split in size. Want to pay around £600 – would prefer a 5yr warranty.
I looked at the CUNESF3903 & found it here for £575

Given all your knowledge, what would be my best bet & where best to buy it from – Im planning on spending around £600
Many thanks

Hi
As you have already gathered Liebherr are about as good as you are going to get.
You can do all the price check websites like Kelkoo etc but I don`t think you will beat Jual when it comes to price. If on the other hand you expect to recieve good service with back up during the sales process / delivery or after for post sales advice I would visit a local independant retailer.
HTH 🙂

ParticipantThank you for response. Just 1 final question – with regard to warranty – am I better buying it from the company who I purchase the fridge freezer from, or would you recommend any other company?
