    Hi Guys,

    I need a bit of help please…

BSH door seal part number 281835.

    It’s listed and going into a WFS4030GB/07. And… here’s the BUT….

This machine has a light in it and, on the replacement seal, there is no receptacle for the lamp. There is however a drain/vent/recirc pipe at 11:30 on the new seal.

Can anyone offer any pointers as it appears to me that the seal isn’t quite right yet it’s the only one listed for the machine?

That’s the one Ken and the light will fit OK. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    How Martin?

The tube is about 10ร‹ลก out position wise and much smaller.

I’m trying to solve this remotely BTW. :rolls:

Err? We are both at this point assuming it is a genuine Bosch 281835 door boot? (as illustrated quite nicely on Connect’s website incidentally) ๐Ÿ˜‰

What you are actually describing seems to be a 361127 door boot, which indeed has a inlet spout at the 11:30 position and is quite a bit smaller in diameter for the light unit to fit! I’ve never tried forcing a light unit into one but the similarity between the two is close and it may just be possible to fit it anyway?
