    Just had call from customer saying machine gone dead having used it twice during day.
    had electrician in checking fuse etc all ok.
    Before I go could this be a board problem that could be expensive or something simpler.
    Any experience with these please.

    That’s odd. I was sure I posted about a similar sort of fault a couple of weeks back but can’t now find it.
    What happened there was I had a machine with dE error and putting in new lock didn’t cure it. Then it refused to even switch on. Taking out fascia board I discovered about four of the tactile switches had gone intermittent, probably due to a damp environment. One of these was the on/off switch. Replacing them cured it. Also looked at main (jellied) board and found some apparent leakage from a suppressor cap but the thing worked anyway so I left that till it becomes critical.
