Hey everyone. I came home and my mother has a broken dishwasher, it was during the week, and after a wash she said they cleared it and there was a bad burning smell from inside it. It was disconnected and only trying it now and now it won’t turn on, no lights or signs of life at all.

Anyone got any advice or tips they can offer, I don’t mind spending a bit of money for advice etc if it saves me time but if I know I can buy spares and have a go at fixing it myself I’d try that first!

    Thanks

Power off and have a look inside the facia panel. On/off switch, door switch and PCB are all potential culprits which will give these symptoms.
