Hi, I’m looking to replace a 10 year old ariston margherita integrated washer dryer.

The door fittings on the ariston are set at 17 inches apart (measured from centre to centre of the fittings). Most stores only ever have a limited supply of integrated appliances but it seems that the fittings are all 15 inches apart.

Are there any makes/models that have the fittings at 17 inches?

Appreciate that I could replace the cabinet doors or is there another option where the fittings on the machines can be adjusted?

Hopefully someone can provide some assistance.

    Many thanks,
    Kenny

    Hi Kenny

Most of the fixing centres have changed over the years, you will probably need to cut new hinge rebates using a hole saw. A tub or tube of plastic wood needed if you want to fill in the old ones.

    HTH 🙂

Hi Don, thanks for your reply.

Does anyone know if there are there any makes/models that I can consider that have the door hinge fittings at 17inches?

    Kenny.
