    hi,

After 2 years of trouble free washing after my last visit to this forum and subsequent replacement of my controller board, my old machine has done it again.. No power at all, took board out and sure enough a fuse(f124) had disintegrated along with what appears to be a triac? has a small piece missing off the top of it!
I have checked resistance across the water valves and pump, they seem fine. The OOB switch has lots of corrosion on it and giving a really high resistance (NC). I will fit a new switch and board. My question is… is there anything else I should check before fitting another board?? I have replaced the board 3 times over its 12 year life and am wondering maybe its trying to tell me something!

    thanks
    george

Water Valves can have intermittent problems (Check there is is no Cracks on coil) Would also check the Pump & if There any signs of leaks from Main Shaft(Water Can leak onto RPS sensor & motor windings ) We generally check the motor windings as a matter of course
