This is a whirlpool dishwasher, customer tells me there are 7 bleeps, also it sounds like is filling with water but none in base. I beleive this is a flow meter problem!!, I understand the water chamber needs to be changed to resolve. can anyone confirm this is correct. thanks John

7 beeps is flowmeter not detected. There are several ways to sort this. (in order of expense……)

    1) Remove the left side panel and disconnect the flowmeter plug. Clean the contacts on the little PCB, crimp the plug with pliers gently to tighten it. Refit and test. I’ve done dozens like this and it was just down to poor or oxidised contacts and a loose plug.

    2) Remove the little PCB and replace the reed switch with one from Maplins. Solder it on and refit.

    3) Buy new airbox with the flowmeter fitted. 😯

    Hope that helps,

    Steve.

Ahh…….I took the board in and they gave me the part……sorry, lost the pack it came in. 🙁
In hindsight, that would have been useful…….. :rolls:

You could try “Search” as loads of people have done this – they may have posted the part number.

    Steve.
