Customer reported that the last cycle finished with lights 2 and 4 flashing. However, on inspection, there are no lights showing on the control board and no cycle can be selected. There is no ‘beep’ when the program button is pressed but the control module is getting power.

    Ideas?

    Steve.

2+4 is a heater fault, very common, either the heater or the PCB 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time.

Check the heater first, if that is OK then its odds on the module.

But does the heater fault cause the control timer go completely dead? I’ve never had that before on similar machines.

Anything is possible on this Indesit junk. 😥

You can always test for a feed into the PCB as well as looking for any other wiring breaks etc.
