Our Bendix washing machine has been deemed as uneconomical for repair by the insurance co. They have suggested a ZWF12070 as a replacement. Some of the recent customer reviews at Amazon and Comet are pretty negative. So, I wondered what people here reckon. We’re a family of four and usually do at least one wash a day.

It’s a typical modern Zanussi with a plastic welded tub. 🙁

You may get 3 years out of it if you’re lucky but if you can get them to run to a mid range Bosch instead, your washday problems are solved! 😀

tried to get a Bosch, the man at insurance company he say NO!, We must get either AEG, Zanussi or Electrolux. I haven’t manged to find anywhere online that stocks Electrolux or AEG:(

Both of which are actually Zanussi machines. 😥

I thought he might as it’s against their replacing policy of ‘like for like’ I would imagine. Therefore try to establish the value of their offer to you and perhaps add a little to that fund to gain a better deal. 💡
