    Going along to look at a Statesman Delta 50E electric cooker with the usual 4 hotplates and as the owner is in hospital I do not know what the problem is with this oven.
    As there does not seem to be anybody advertising spares for this cooker can somebody tell me if the hotplates would be the standard ones that Dave Conway stocks at UK Whitegoods and what type of simmerstat that would fit this model in case this is blown?

    Basic 500mm slot in cooker sub £230 retail sold with 2 year warranty so may be still covered.
    Not seen one out of warranty but spares not OTT.

    At least I now have a service number to use for parts when needed.
    DHS job so hope payment comes forth.
    Saturday morning job.
