I have a Diplomat ADP3322 in a rented property and my tenants have advised me that the removable sheet of glass inside the door has shattered whilst cooking ! Can anybody help confirm whether this is possible through cooking alone, or has it been dropped ?

I would like to contact the manfucturer about this, but am struggling to find any contact details. Are you able to offer any advice please?

    THREAD.

Diplomat is an MFI brand name. MFI have gone bust.

Spares are still available for most MFI appliances from http://www.hygenadiplomatspares.com/index.html .

Yes , it is entirely feasible. I have replaced a few inner door glasses from other brands over the last few years and whilst i was always dubious as to the cause , i normally took the customer at their word.
Then , about a year a go , i was cooking some jacket potatoes in my own oven at home when the inner oven door just shattered into 100’s of pieces and it scared the life out of me as i was stood by the side of it at the time !!!…..funnily enough , it was a diplomat oven too. I now have no second thoughts when i see customers with the same problem.
