gas hob with griddle?

    Hi,

    I’ve recently seen some pictures of 4 or 5 burner gas hobs with integrated (or perhaps removable) griddle area spanning from front to back of the hob (ie 2 burners long).

    I’ve been unable to find any information on such hobs. Does anyone know any brands which sell hobs with griddle units? I’ve looked at the Bosch Domino system, but that only lists a BBQ, not griddle.

    I’ve not come across one from a domestic appliance supplier I must admit. quite common on some brands of range cookers though. Why not select the hob you would like and then add one these universal griddles that way you could end up with the best of both worlds.

    Hi Don,

    Many thanks for the swift reply. Guess the pros get all the good toys. 🙂 The griddle you linked to appears to be a decent compromise, and probably a bit cheaper than upgrading to a full range cooker 🙂
