    I have a IW711 that has developed a noisy pump. It makes a squealing noise when the wash starts (just on the Eco bit that recirculates the water).

    I’ve removed it and put a drop of oil on the pump motor bushes – hopefully that will keep it quiet for a while.

    Any other advice – apart from replacing ?

    Removed the fluff that was built up around the shaft and a couple of drops of oil. 6 weeks later it is still silent.
