the kit you get will be for both ovens, although you dont need to fit the other one (keep it for next time). its not hard but the finished result is a bodge. My customer was not happy with the operation of the stat.

My old posts seem to have disappeared from history. only last ten posts are showing. I’ve had some history with these.
I’d be interested to see the info being sent to you from jonah. I found that the info they send with the kits is inadequate. I ended up spending about 3 hours tracing back the wires and ended up guessing which wire went where.
read the instruction well and be prepared to be gobsmacked when you find that the new stat shafts turn in the opposite way from which you would expect. But it does work, honestly.I dont know how much Stoves charge to do this repair/ modification. I would suggest that unless you are well skilled withy wiring diagrams and you have plenty of time at the moment you pass it to someone else. Rotten job!
I’ve still got the Invensys oven stat on stock EFG 205 if that makes life easier.

Hi All, I’ve just been reading the various threads regards the Stoves Newhome 800DF (Model 050565031) and the thermostat conversions mayhem.
I’ve got a customer with a “refurbished 😆 ” specimen and both ovens and the hotplate are in need of repair.
Unfortunately, the customers 3 month warranty ran out 6 months ago and he’s only just installed the cooker.
I’m wondering if anybody has got a copy of the conversion wiring diagram for the oven stat’s / switches that they could send to me, as a lot of people have already said that the diagram that was supplied has been almost illegible.
I just want to take a look at whats involved before I commit to the job.
Many thanks in advance

Thanks kevinlewis
That seems to be the main consensus of opinion, and I’m not in the mood to play the martyr… I’ll break the bad news to the customer.
