    Hello there
    my washer drier will lock its door and the wash light comes on but that’s it.

    There are no eror codes flashing on the front of it, it just sits there doing nothing. I left it overnight only to find it in the same state in the morning.

    First thing to do is to pull the mains plug and check the motor brushes.

    Right. The motor brushes were really worn, so I have just changed them as the problem seemed to sort itself for a while(after banging the washer off the floor!) but has re-appeared.
    Now the wash light comes on when a program is selected and the door locked light is flashing. The wash program will not start.

    Relax! Took motor back off and I had managed to pull one of the brush connectors off when I fitted the motor. All works fine now!
