Hi everyone, hope someone can help with this…

After repeatedly getting E4 (error code, not the tv channel) on my Baumatic BDW13 I took the side panel off to see I had a leak at the back of the unit. After following the source of the leak I found that the vertical flat pipe at the back had come loose and the seal had broken on it.

I’ve attached a photo… do you think this is fixable?

    Thanks

Nope…have seen this many times on various makes of dishwasher! The only cure is a new top feed tube but good news however is the particular pipe isn’t a very expensive part and the seal is re-useable. Be careful not to overtighten the plastic nut on the inside, really hand tight is good enough 😉

    Many thanks for the advice!

I checked with the spares department on UKWhiteGoods and apparently this is the part I need…

Do you know if it’s as simple as ordering that and it comes with all I need?

    Cheers again

Yes, just be sure to remove the little hose clamp at the bottom carefully as the hose it is clamping is attached to the heater. Try not to put any strain on this hose.

    A.
