Participantenr no se5e330gb56, fd 8501, s/no 000575, ive not had this machine out yet, but it starts ok then after a few mins, it stops washing but the drain pump and circ pump are both running at the same time? it then stays like this until reset or switched off. theres no waster in the base and the float switch is working ok.
any pointers for when i go back on tues?

Are you sure the float switch is not sticking…i’ve had a couple that had partially blocked in the float chamber causing the float to ‘bounce’ which in turn made the microswitch go west.
Other than that maybe a heater earth fault?

been back to this today float all ok heater fine. it seems that as soon as the water is up to level the drain pump comes on but the wash motor is still going aswell, im thinking module? :rolls:

Not me though, I’m thinking the circulating pump impellor is clogged with debris?
Assuming the pressure chamber and transfer pipe are squeaky clean? That water fills up as normal and the pressure switch turns off the inlet valve OK? If there’s crud blocking the impellor the backflow is sufficient to cause the overfill float to switch on the drain pump all the while the circulating pump is trying to operate.
A similar effect can occur if the water point device is stuck halfway across both outlet pipes when the circulating pump fires up = a duff heater box.
You got the model number a bit wrong by the way I suspect, could it be a SE65E330GB/56 instead? As a rule the only instance I’ve had a module or 3 fail on these is a no heat fault or the tranny bursts into flame because some twonk does’nt ever turn them off when the cycle has long finished!

your right with the model no cheers 😳 ive not had the circ pump off but the overfill float dosent move at all when it starts draining. also i thought that if the float switch was activated that everything stopped appart from the drain pump. cos both pumps are running together 😯
im clueless help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ParticipantI’d be checking the control module for signs of burnt out components , blown triacs or connector plgs overheated .
