    I know they’ve been a problem, but I’ve been to an oven which has had 3 switch assemblies so far. One only a couple of months ago. Everything tests OK and no overheated connections on the elements etc. Any ideas?
    I don’t want to replace it and have it go again. Thanks

    I always remake the connections onto the s/w… never had to go back yet 😉

    IIRC , it always seems to be the black neutral that ‘burns’ out . I do the same as superfix , remaking the burnt out cable with a new connector ensuring that its a nice tight fit when re-fitted. I can’t recall going back for one either.
