Has anyone got a working Motor Control Module for Hoover 1100 Model A3392 ? It has a red Mullard label on it with the number LP1500/33.
QER kindly tested my old one and found the chip had gone. Thats a custom part apparently and no longer available – unless someone out there has one of these chips or a complete module on a shelf ❓

Thanks for your reply and suggestions Dave. I must admit I gave up and bought a replacement machine a few weeks ago. I stripped the old machine of anything useful though before junking and sold some of its bits on ebay. I do like to get good service out of my white goods !

I got a Bosch Classixx 1200 – it had belonged to an elderly lady who died and the machine has had little use so looks new. Bought through local paper advert for £75 from her daughter who is clearing her house. I got about £20 for bits from the old one so I think I have done OK. Lets see how long the Bosch lasts. The Hoover went without any breakdown for 16 years and it too was second hand when I got it.
I buy most of my stuff this way – someone else can pay for the depreciation. Thanks in advance to all those who will help pay for my future consumer items !
