hi been out to this fridge freezer today and the top vertical line of the second eight was showing on the fridge section customer had said it had tripped rcd just before ,looking back on an old post i understand that this fault code is a dodgy ice maker sensor i have just rang customer to inform them and they say they have been on the internet :rolls: and pressed a combo of buttons and it now appears to be running correctly any thoughts guys does a dodgy ice maker sensor normally trip rcd and is it possible to get the fridge going again by pressing a combo of buttons ? thanks Cras

recieved thankyou ,do you know if the error code will re appear as my customer now thinks he has repaired it himself by pressing a few buttons :rolls:

working from memory that fault code is ice maker sensor …little this wires under ice tray normaly break as theyhave to twist wih ice tray .
afer a while they break …if the whole f/f stopped then it sounds like it is this ice maker
you need new ice maker unit to cureally

thanks for the replies ,icemaker temp sensor is showing seperately on connections are these much of a job to change or would you recomend changing the whole unit thanks Cras

never knew you could get temp sensor on its own? ..
easy to change … quicker doing full ice maker unit ..
