I’ve just been to an Indesit wi121 – it had filled to halfway up the door and the selector spins continually.
There is no light on at all, though, so no error codes.
Drain pump checks out OK.
Motor checks out OK.
Heater checks out OK.
Pressure switch seems OK – operates on both lower level and upper level, although there has been a lot of chafing of the protective tubing against the tub – there seems to be no pressure leakage from the pipe, but I’m going to replace the pipe and sheathing anyway.
I know the fact that there is no light on at all is a possibility that it’s just a blown bulb (Didn’t think about checking that ’till I was back home – nugget!) and if it is that, would it lead to an overfill and the selector spinning?
Any suggestions, or should I just go for the main board?
Thanks,
Pigpen.
