    Hi,
    I need the door microswitch 3way 1702299 but Connect have obsolete. I have a 2 way from a T632CW. Any thoughts on this as a replacement? Seems I just have to join 2 wires onto one terminal but are there any hidden dangers? 😆

    Just having a quick look at the wiring diagram suggests it may not be a good idea to bypass the switch.

    From what I can see it would mean that the drum would not stop when the door was opened.

    It might be possible to source a standard three tag microswitch and fit it to the mounting bracket.

    Had a look and have to agree. Tried for some time to get a switch but next is RS, see what they have.
    Makers Otehall haven’t got a website as far as I can make out.

    It probably would have worked but had ordered 5 off eBay for £4.19 so will have some to spare 😆
