NESN have several directors, the white goods director’s post has been vacant for more than a year ago now as far as I know.
It’s taken them this long to replace, hardly surprising as no-one wants the job I don’t suppose and Mr Strollo’s company, appliance-xpress is owned by NESN anyway so I don’t expect the representation will be unbiased.

It appears that one of two things is about to happen, either the boardroom battle for control is about to spill onto the streets or they’re gonna tell everyone that they’re bust. I can think of no other reasoning for the upcoming meeting being held, the importance thrust upon it and the urgency, especially with such short notice.
Unless of course we’re going to get a bit of both…
Sewell pulls out leaving a big hole in the financing of NESN, i.e. he sinks it.

I m reliably informed that the discussions are not over monetary issues. This is not an issue and members old and new will carry on being paid.
The meetings are about securing the future of NESN and making it once again making it a viable Network who people will want to work with
I was informed of that as well and asked to post accordingly, noteably not by someone within NESN as it stands now. That makes me a bit suspicous, but then I’m like that anyway.
If the network is not currently viable then how can it be a financially sound organisation? The events of late beg a lot of questions, I’m waiting on some answers before I say too much on it.
You must also remember that there is still a boardroom battle going on and those can get very messy indeed. 😕

Nope, she’s from outside the industry from BT I think. So she’s an unknown quantity basically as yet and hell knows what she’s there to do.
They could have employed better to sort it IMO.
