    fault motor triac open circuit, take it that means new board. or emw has any off you tryed fixing the boards urself, ie changing the triac?

    I think QER do a repair on these! I had one once but it was a re-con washer I was trying to sort out and I didn’t want to put too much money into it so it bacame a doner machine.

    I guess you’re going by the fault code? Remember it’s only a guide. The fault could equally well be in the wiring / contacts / motor itself. Anyway, if the triac is open circuit it was probably sent there by a motor fault in the first place, so I’d check it all out if I were you. Especially check there’s been no water getting onto the motor.
    If it is the triac it should be easy enough to solder in a new one. Desolder first, using solder wick and flux, then it’s easy to solder the new triac into the clean holes that are left.
