    internal oven lights stay on , even when oven not in use ?..

    was at this today doing a new fan element … when nice customer also informed me about lights staying on …

    tere is no light switch …seems as though thay are meant to switch with oven multi switch ..

    has anyone seen this b4 …

    Hiya,
    I’ve got information for an SUK91MFX5, can’t find an MFXS though.


    If it’s the MFX5 then the wiring diagram shows the lamps are fed in two ways.

    The door switch and the selector switch both supply the lights.

    I would imagine that opening the door brings the lights on and closing it puts them off (assuming the selector isn’t switched on).

    depending on the age there is a micro switch with an arm mounted on the left hand hinge reciever I have had some where the lagging catches the microswitch arm and sticks it the wrong way ,easiest way is to ease the left hand panel out beware top screw behind facia .
