hotpoint wd860 washer dryer

went to this job late on today, the customer had said the belt was off it was 18 months old.
i had went through the possibilities in my head as i drove to the job.
usually not in, no money, drum bearings gone sock under drum etc.
however i had not considered that the motor would have burnt out and the heat generated would have melted all the plastic brackets on the tub causing the motor to fall off and throw off the belt.
i shut the toolbox and told them to phone hotpoint.
i should have taken a pictue the brackets looked like candle wax.
