    I am shipping a

    Bosch Classixx 1400 Express
    WAE28162GB/09
    FD 8706 602433

and its the only machine I’ve had whose transit bolts I did not keep (or cannot find!)

Any ideas where I could source a replacement(s) and how many would I need.

    Many thanks.

    Re: Transit bolts

    Hi fleabo

The part number for the transit bolts is 186870 or substitute part 429205 which are slightly cheaper. Either are available from Bosch spares you will need three IIRC, one way of making sure would be to look at the back of the appliance.

Another way would be to pop along to your local Bosch retailer and ask if they have any odd ones knocking about from installations they have done. As a last resort you could take the lid off ( remembering to pull the plug first :zap: ) and slip a cushion down either side of the drum to stop it from banging around.

    HTH 🙂

I have found that the substitute part 429205 is slightly cheaper. It does a great job and is the way to go. I would echo the reminder to turn off the power first. This is a common mistake and can prove to be costly.
